2562 Apprentices Recruitment in Central Railway

2562 Apprentices Recruitment in Central Railway 2020: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway, Mumbai has published recruitment notification of Apprentices in various ITI trades for filling up 2562 vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961. The closing date for submission of online applications is 22nd January 2020.



Candidates should note and take cognizance of the fact that this is a Centralized Notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for Central Railway Units and Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway (RRC/CR) has been nominated as nodal agency for obtaining ONLINE applications from candidates and preparation of their merit list. Candidates can submit their applications ONLINE only on RRC’s website www.rrccr.com

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 1st January 2020. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed minimum 10th class / SSC 10+2 examination system or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks. The candidates should possess National Trade Certificate (NTC / ITI) in concerned trade issued by the NCVT.

Once you have registered and logged in, select “Form 6 for new Voter Registration” in the page that is being displayed. You will have to enter the EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) number of your family member or neighbourhood.

Form 6 for registration of your name in the Voter ID will be displayed on the screen. You will have to enter information like your name, address, date of birth and details of other family members whose name has been enrolled in the electoral list.

After you submit the form, you will also have the option to upload documents like address proof and age proof. You will receive a copy of the pdf file which you have to save and take a print out.

You must submit the copy of printout in the nearest Election Commission office by post. After verification, the new Voter ID will be sent to you by post to your registered address.

WHAT IS BLOCKCHAIN?

When I ask you about Blockchain I am pretty sure your answer is as simple as its the technology behind bitcoin or Ethereum or any cryptocurrency, it's real, but it is like defining the internet as the technology behind email or e-commerce, which is slightly uncompleted, one can not define internet in terms of its use-cases.

Example of Blockchain:

If I had to explain Blockchain I would like to take the example of a ledger which stores my all transactions, if I had to send money to my friend to abroad, it's not like that money would fly to him, and he will get the amount, if I send money from here an entry would be made in my ledger and an entry in his ledger, but there is a problem that there are a lot of ledgers in between like banks money transfer institutions. Many more so if I send $100 he might be getting merely $94 to $95 and this all process going to take 5 to 6 working days, now imagine instead of this broken system we had a universal ledger and every participant I talked about me, my friend, banks or any else are part of that global ledger and when a transaction had to happen every single of them had to authenticate it.
Then you only need one real-time entry, and whenever a transaction happens it is added to the network as a block which consists of chain of already happened transactions, and every block is immutably linked to each other, and so if anyone tries to change a transaction or block one will have to change each block or transaction that is like impossible, that's why it is much secure. This is the concept behind Blockchain.
Now a question may strike to your mind that who owns Blockchain or who controls it, it's not one bank or high authority or a government, but it's the entire bunch of people who are using it.

let's talk about it quickly:

Blockchain is like a kitty party, in a kitty party bunch of women get together and exchanging some amount, let's suppose there are 12 women in a kitty party, and they put $100 each in a lucky draw. The lucky winner will get $1200, as all this transaction is happening among them, I consider myself as one of the participants of that kitty party now who may I trust, there is no one superwomen or a boss, what I am doing is I believe all of them. Booth Level Officer; A Representative of Election Commission at the Grass-Root Level

For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.


Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+


The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.


BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law.
