Indigenous app elements can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Stores around the world. The app has been tested among the people for several months before its launch. More than 2 lakh people have downloaded this app. In this, user data will be kept safe in the country. The app also features private chatting, audio-video conference calls, secure payments through Elements Pay and a commerce platform to promote Indian brands. It allows users to connect with the whole world and buy local products, which means the app will also feature e-commerce. The regional voice command feature will be added to the app soon

There will also be some public profiles on the app, which users can follow or subscribe to. The app will also include a feature of regional voice commands in the near future. The app has features like end-to-end encryption to protect users' data. The government has appealed to Indian companies to focus on creating a desi app to strengthen the domestic app space. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the Digital India Self-Reliant Innovation Challenge. This was meant to promote apps made in India.
