Gujarat School Education Circle, Gandhinagar Letter No. 2/08/2050 1 In accordance with the above subject and reference, it is stated in the letter of reference-1 of the education department of the central government that the celebration of "Teacher's Day" should be done by the school students and teachers in a virtual format.
Celebrated every year on 9th September as "Teacher's Day", teachers are commemorated for their contribution to the development of the society and the nation.
Students will be able to take part in the celebration by writing their teacher's name or writing a message of respect on the paper, taking a selfie and uploading it in a virtual format with the hashtag wour Teachers OurHeroes.
(2) For teachers. This message is intended to reach as many students and teachers as possible in the school.
As you are aware every year of 5 September, the Teachers' Day is celebrated in the country to recognize the contribution of the teaching community tovards the society, while shaping the younger generations for the future and providing them with the power of education and knowledge.
Indian teachers have always been exceptional in performance of duties, working sellessly and relentlessly through the ages, often In adverse conditions to bring down prejudices and provide positive impetus to transform society.
I would like to request to issue Instructions to all the colleges and schools in your State / UT also to celebrate Teachers' Day on September and reconize the contribution of the teaching community working there.
It may be held through virtual format. It is also requested to advise these colleges and schools to popularize the following two hash tags: #Our TeachersOur Heroes 2 Where children can post their own selfie with a paper sharing their teacher's name / s or with a message to their teachers.
