The Gujarat government has made a number of schemes for women, which very few people will know about. The Ministry of Women and Child Development of Gujarat has launched its new scheme called Kunwarbai Nu Mameru Yojana. This scheme has been started especially for the welfare of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe girls. Under this scheme, the State Government will provide financial assistance for marriage of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe girls.
Let us tell you that needy families can avail this scheme, under this scheme, the government will provide an amount of Rs 5000 for only one girl in a family. This is a very important step taken by the Gujarat State Government.

Eligibility to apply for the Kunwarbai Nu Mameru Scheme
The eligibility criteria required for this scheme is that the girl should be a permanent resident of Gujarat. At the same time, the annual income of a scheduled caste and scheduled tribe family should not exceed Rs 27,000 in rural areas and Rs 36,000 in urban areas.
