FACT Careers: The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Central Government of India operated PSU has published a recruitment notification for the post of Technician (Process) for the recruitment year 2021. FACT has two production units they are Udyogamandal, and Cochin Division (CD)at Ambalamedu and Udyogamandal Complex (UC) at Eloor. The main production of this company is Sulphuric Acid, Ammonia, Ammonium Sulphate, Gypsum, Caprolactam, Soda Ash, Nitric acid and coloured Ammonium Sulphate. These Vacancies are available for B.Sc Degree Holder Candidates or Engineering Diploma Holder Candidates. Those B.Sc Graduate Candidates or Engineering Diploma holder candidates who are in the age group of 18-35 years (relaxable) and fulfilling the educational qualification requirement as mentioned below can apply for these posts by 30.04.2021. Salary / Pay Scale: 

• Candidates offered engagement as above will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs.20,000/- per month and an increase of 3% on completion of one year. Leave, ESI, Provident Fund, Shift allowance, TA & DA for duty travel will be applicable based on eligibility, as per Rules of the Company.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or Diploma in Engineering [Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology (including Petrochemical Technology)]

Experience (If Any):

• Freshers Can Apply. However, Those with 2 years post qualification experience in the operation of a large Fertiliser/Chemical/Petrochemical plant will be given preference, based on the period of experience. One year Technician Apprenticeship training in large Fertiliser / Chemical/Petrochemical Plant will also be considered as experience

Age Limit: 

• 18-35 Years. Relaxation in maximum age limit is permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

Age Relaxable up to:

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates
