Corbevax Vaccine
Three Covid-19 vaccines received regulatory clearance from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) on Tuesday, according to sources in the Indian health ministry. An emergency use authorization (EUA) for Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin for children aged 6-12 years and for Biological E’s Corbevax for children aged 5-12 years has been issued by the Indian drug regulatory authority, according to sources.
Additionally, on Tuesday, the Covid-19 vaccine, a two-dose regimen developed by Gujarat-based Zydus Cadila, was awarded emergency use authorization for the 12 years and older group. The three-dose form of the DNA vaccine developed by Zydus Cadila is being utilized in the country’s national vaccination campaign for the general adult population. It is the first Covid-19 vaccine to be constructed on a DNA platform and has been licensed for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
Corbevax Vaccine Shot Registration
Several members of the Goa government’s expert group on Covid-19 have predicted that the coastal state might be affected by a probable fourth wave of the epidemic in June or July. According to the Press Trust of India, Dr. Shivanand Bandekar, the committee chairman, has said that the experts have advised against decreasing the guard on Covid-19.
Bandekar has recommended that people keep their masks on when in public locations to prevent the sickness from spreading further. PTI reports that committee members have evaluated preparations for another coronavirus outbreak. The state has a sufficient supply of medications to cope with any crisis.

Corbevax Vaccine for 5-12 Years Old Approved
Covaxin is one of the two primary vaccines currently being given in India, the other being Covishield, which the Serum Institute of India manufactures. Corbevax, a Covid-19 vaccine created by Hyderabad-based Biological E, was granted emergency use authorization by India’s medicines authority in February for youngsters between 12 and 18 years.
In January of last year, India launched the world’s most extensive vaccination campaign against Covid, targeting all individuals on the frontlines of the battle against the epidemic. Two months later, the coverage was extended to individuals over the age of 60, and it was extended to all adults in May of 2021. The vaccination campaign for 15-18-year-olds began in January and was subsequently extended to include different age groups.
In response to growing concerns about variations, booster doses are increasingly being offered to adults. According to a statement from the Health Ministry, “187.95 billion vaccine doses have been delivered thus far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.”
While the number of Covid cases in the nation has risen to more than 2,000, the country’s situation is under control compared to China and certain European countries, where the increase has been concerning since March.
